Heyyy September! We are pleased to introduce you to Nina Urbonya the maker at Nina Belle Designs! She is a painter that makes bright and cheery designs and turns them into all sorts of super fun items for you to enjoy. Nina was born and raised in St. Lucia in the Caribbean but now lives in Detroit, Michigan with her husband and two children.

She loved painting and drawing as a child, but really only got seriously back into it after having her first baby. Nina would pick up her craft while the baby napped or went to bed for the night and found it very relaxing. Soon, friends and family started commissioning her to paint pieces for them and really encouraged her to make a business out of this hobby. Soon she was up an running with her shop on Etsy and has been creating and selling items there ever since. Nina is half French and half Japanese, the word belle means beautiful in French, so the name of her business translates to Beautiful Designs Created by Nina.

When she’s not painting, Nina loves going for walks and hanging out with other families. Her favorite part in the process is painting new designs, and she loves turning those designs into stickers for her customers.
